This wooden paper plate holder is handmade using pine wood. It is stained Early American. The lemons are hand painted using acrylic paint, and then a gloss varnish is applied to the front of the plate holder. It is securely held together using wood glue, and brad nails. This beautiful lemon paper plate holder would look great in any kitchen, or it would make a wonderful housewarming gift.

    Overall craftsmanship is good. However, as you can tell from my photo the lemon skins look orange and not yellow. I don't know why, but that's a bit odd. The online listing shows yellow paint as it's supposed to depict lemons, but what I received looks like oranges. The photos I see in reviews from others the lemons appear yellow and not orange, so not sure what happened here. I'll have to tell people they're supposed to be Meyer lemons I guess when explaining the orange color.
